Hey, everyone!

I'm a newbie here, but have been reading for while... That's why I would like to have some opinions on my turkey behaviour.

We have several, but two of our turkeys could be described as lap turkeys, as for the first month of their lives they were living in house with us (young turkey hen after laying just few eggs went broody in December/January, because of the cold temperatures we took them in the house), but for the past 4 months they are living in the coop with Indian runner ducks and broiler chickens.
Now the both of them are nearly 6 month's old, and one of them is acting really strange. When we go near him or in the coop, turkey just lies down. Wings are bit spread, touching ground, turkey seems weak and wobbly, if you pick it up and put it back down.
Sometimes he/she is shaking a bit. Otherwise turkey is healthy, active, interested in food and new things, runs, flies, vocalises, poop seems to be normal, there is no bad smell coming from nostrils. What puzzles me the most is that most of the time turkey is totally Ok (as far as I can tell), but few times a day, when it looks weak.

Can't wait on some opinions. Thank You!

Is the turkey in question a hen? If so I would guess that she is about to start laying and is doing a 'squat' much like chicken hens do. She regards you as the 'tom' in her flock.

We are not sure on the gender yet. Seems like a hen, but it seems that the beard is growing. But I am 95% sure it is a hen - very sweet and docile. Thank You so much for the answer - I was thinking the same - just wanted to be sure if it's not some symptom of disease or something!
