Grind Hard Farm
Crowing
We had two heritage turkeys, one tom and one hen. Sadly, we assume the tom died from wet fowl pox as we found him one morning deceased. Since then, the hen -Angela- has been getting attacked from the rooster in a sexual manner, she is only 4 months. I found her one morning with a little blood by her tail, assuming it was just the pecking order. This morning, I then found her bleeding from behind a bit more than last time and sitting on the ground lethargic, I checked her tail and found a few feathers plucked out. I separated her, how else can we help her?
