My sweet tom Brad was attacked through the fence by my parents dog last night. Lots of blood and a snoring sound with breathing. Went to vet first thing this am and he has a punctured trachea Has anyone ever dealt with this?? The vet advised against surgery and says the hope is it will close off and he’s on Baytril. He said to keep him in a calm quiet place so he’s in a guest room. That’s him currently.
He ate a little banana and some seeds today. He still sounds very much like he’s snoring but he’s getting around. I’m hoping for the best but I’m so upset and looking for someone that might have experienced this
