Turkeys

Greetings & Salutations. Welcome.

This place is full of information! I would not have known that you could have a Tom with 2 hens. With chickens, it's more like 8-10 females per male.

If you want to keep all 4, you could get a couple more females. 😎 I'll call it turkey math.

This is a wonderful site on which to Learn and enjoy. We are pleased to have you in the community.

Welcome to BYC. I don't know anything about turkeys but if you are raising them as pets it might be best to let the females live separately.
I dont have the together as yet, because I don't want to males to sex the females if they are to young, that is what I need to know, is will a female surrender herself even if she is to young 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I can't seem to find out any info on this anywhere 🤦‍♀️🤔

I'm not sure what "surrender" means. My turkeys will "pretend-mate" each other even as poults. So yes the turkeys might mount each other even if too young. If the females are much smaller than the males, they could get injured.
