Two black chickens - one fluffy, one with iridescent blue in feathers... No clue on breed or sex...

I would like to know breed, but that's really not a huge deal in my book, but I am really hoping I have all hens (that was what I asked for... and really want) First chicken, feet are fully feathered.... super fluffy



The other one - In the sun, the feathers have a blue iridescence, grey/black feet.

The top bird is a Black Cochin and the bottom bird looks like a Black Australorp (could be a Black Jersey Giant if the bottom of its feet are an obvious yellow). How old are the two birds?

4 months - got them as tiny chicks mid march - Thanks - do they look like both hens???

They look like pullets to me.

You're welcome. At four months they are both pullets, and with those bright red combs and wattles, they are close to laying; especially the bottom one.
