Hey all! Can you spam me with pics of your ducklings in their various feathering phases? Ive tried googling what is normal but cant really find anything. My cute little fluffy ducklings have mutated into these creepy ugly ducklings with weird little half feathers and bald spots hahahaha.

I swear they are giving me dirty looks everytime i look at them, ever since they started losing patches of fluff lol

And my teeny girls are still teeny. The brown one is wingless (she only has 1 full wing and one kind of nubby thing, and the yellow in front is daisy duck :)

Aww I love all stages even this one. They are adorable . Going through the teenage stage they are probably looking at you and thinking "What's for dinner" my Runners and Buffs are just like teens eating me out of house and home.

They sure are!! Little fatties. They adored playing in the garden yesterday. They ate slugs and worms, black beans fresh off rhe vines lol anything they could get their bills on lol! And then came inside and just ate and drank for another 30 minutes. Chunker extroirdinares up in here lol

I don't remember about all the beans but I do remember reading that some beans are poisonous for ducks if the beans are raw. Other than that comment, I'd also like to say your ducklings are cute and hopefully they are growing up just right with all their different looks of feathers coming in.

I think mine were two months old and still had their downy feathers before starting to change into their other new feathers.

Oh no! I will look into the bean thing they were more into the slugs though, the beans were too big too hold their interest. They seem good. All are in good spirits. Starting to get their big girl quacks in too! Maybe the temperature changes arw making them tey to get thwir big girl feathers in early? They sure are a scragglt looking bunch right now though with fluff missing and odd feathera sticking out lol!

Raw beans are a no-no. Your ducks are adorable! When mine went through that stage, my best friend commented that they freaked her out bc they looked partially plucked. Poor things! But, boy, are they gorgeous now!
