Is this too much blood and is there anything I can do to help? Baby is fully out and detached from the shell.

The vent or umbilicus doesn’t look good, is his belly open or his rear prolapsed? There appears to be a large reddish mass between the legs on the second photo. If a prolapsed vent, you can apply some Vaseline and gently push it in, the bleeding is just superficial. If he hasn’t absorbed the yolk sac or ruptured it, he will probably bleed to death or die of peritonitis, not much you can do.

I was just reading in another tread about dabbing cornstarch on the bleeding area. Looks like you're in the middle of a hatch though so I'm not sure. I hope your little one makes it.

Nothing is out, just a small dangler that doesn’t look like it can be pushed in. The amount of blood in the incubator is very concerning. I won’t hold out much hope.

It's just a bloody belly button. Usually putting some pressure on it is enough to stop the bleeding. Then add Triple Antibiotic Ointment on the navel.

I’m contemplating taking it out regardless, the humidity is decent so I’m not too worried about shrink wrapping. Is it worth the risk to do cornstarch and then stick it in the brooder with shavings so the area can dry out

Shrink Wrapping isn't immediate anyway, it's a misconception that's spread like wildfire. Perfectly safe to open the incubator during hatch. It takes several hours of extremely low humidity for shrink Wrapping to happen.
