I'm a newbie, so I apologize if this has been asked! I've searched the threads and didn't find this exact question.
We're so close to finishing up our new walk-in coop, but we need some help! We have (roughly) an 8x8 floor plan, but we plan on separating the space (4.5' for the girls, 2.5' for us). We were hoping to put a wall up with hardware cloth (possibly having the nesting boxes on that wall) but wondered how everyone else is using their walk-in for storage. I've been on every site possible, trying to find a similar layout, but I haven't had much luck.
What does your layout look like? What do you do for storage? What do you wish you included in your own walk-in coops? What do we do with the plywood floors?
I've been going back and forth between sealing up the seam and painting with exterior paint, as well as finding plastic mats or linoleum flooring. Currently, we use Sweet PDZ on our poo shelves and sand on the floor.
