Hen has water belly. Draining it over time since the only syringe I can find only has 12 CCS.

Does anyone know where I can find a larger tube with a needle? Everywhere online has no needles or a blunt needle. I need to take out more at once but can't find anything anywhere and tractor supply is no help. I believe I am looking for 60 cc with an 18 gauge needle. I would rely appreciate the help. I ordered a kit online for water belly and they sent the wrong items and they never responded to my email.

She hasn't pooped at all at night for months. During the day it is pure diarrhea.

Is there anything I can do for her diarrhea?

Thank you in advance

Have you checked with your TSC to see if they have needles? Often they are behind a sliding door - it's a bit tricky to find them.

If not, then order them online for store pickup, usually you can get most things the next day.

Amazon you can order livestock needles and syringes too.

Is she roosting at night or sleeping on the floor?

Yes, I have checked amazon and tractor supply. Tractor Supply only has the ones with low CCs and I want to be able to take more out at once instead of re-poking her so much.

She is roosting, but when it was real bad, she was on the floor.

You can insert the needle without a syringe on the end, and the fluid will drain on its own onto a towel or pad. See link below for pictures. Most of the feed stores here including TSC have 35 ml syringes. Most other needles and syringes may be found online. Here is a link for Amazon:

What about the needles for the syringes? Are those universal? I can easily find a syringe, and a needle online, just not as one unit.

Thank you

Most of the needles will fit any syringe. Some may screw on, those are called leuer lock which won’t come off without unscrewing them, but most just slip on or off.
