They've not been laying much recently as the nights are only just drawing out. There have been a couple of eggs with hardly any shells on though. What do I need to do if it is a ruptured follicle? I don't know which of the chickens it came fromThat looks more like a ruptured follicle, B
but I may be wrong. It is not a lash egg. @Wyorp Rock may be better at calling this one. Has you hen been laying recently or have you found any soft or shell-less eggs lately?
Not really tbh. There's only 7 of them so I'll give them all those tablets for a week just to be on the safe side. Thanks for thatYou may want to give the hen a human calcium with vitamin D tablet for up to 7 days, if you can figure out which one laid that red object.
