Hello!
I have five welsh harlequins (3 female, two drakes) that I got as babies in May of 2021. They have been prolific layers, and I think all three females started to brood this past spring/summer (2022), at various times, but we ended up collecting all the eggs when we found them. Anyway, it has now been about 3 months since I have seen a duck egg, and I think they are not laying at all (vs hiding them). We have a chicken coop and a duck coop next to each other, with fencing around an open run. We are a bit crowded right now and need to get rid of some of our chickens, so I wonder if that could be a factor?
Anyone have any thoughts as to why they are not laying?
