Where did you order your welshies? Were they breed standard? How many eggs annually? Were you satisfied with your order?

I am looking for the best hatchery to order new welsh harlequin ducks. I have had some in the past (Metzer origins) and absolutely adored them, but unfortunately they were murdered by a vicious beast. I want to produce good breed standard ducks. I have started another similar thread in the past but didn't get any answers really.

I have ducklings from Cackle. They are still in fuss so I can't tell much about how well they fit the breed standard, and of course don't know how many eggs. Drakes had darker bills than the girls to start, all of the girls bills are dark now at 3 weeks. They varied in size a bit, but none of them were extremely small. Price and location were part of why I ordered from them.

Yes 1 little drake. Unfortunately the appleyards were weak on arrival and we lost all the girls.

Oh, poor guy. We just finished hatching an SA duckling, so far only 1 out of 10 total eggs hatched. But she has been the sweetest little thing! She is such a doll and I'm so in love with that little baby mohawk .

Just a local breeder from Texas. The eggs were shipped in news paper and they were on their sides and other random positions. Also our humidity was kinda high and I feel like the eggs didn't lose enough weight.
