What’s wrong with my baby chick

we had 9 eggs hatching, everything went ok but one chick seems a little smaller than the others and one of his eyes are closed is he/she ok ( sorry about the blurry photos he/she wouldn’t sit still)

If he's freshly hatched, he may just be weak and need time to gain strength. I offer a supplement like Poultry Nutri-Drench to weaker chicks to give them a nutritional(and energy) boost, and it can be very helpful.

Did you already check to make sure his eye's not glued shut? Sometimes goop from the egg can do that.

Are the chicks from same sized eggs? Smaller eggs generate smaller chicks simply due to space inside the egg. Same with parentage, if you have more than one roo. Doesn't have to be a bad sign, it might just be how he is.
As for the eye, I've no idea. Saline eye drops to rinse out any goo maybe?

I had one hatch last month and it’s eye was like that just take a damp cloth and gently rub it on it’s eye and it’ll open and if it doesn’t there might be something else wrong

I checked on him ( hopefully a her) and both eyes were open thanks for the tips and advice though

I had a duckling who kept one eye closed for 3 days, but eventually she opened it again. I guess it was just goo. dab at the eye with warm water on a rag. that should help.

Another update: his eye is closed again and he barely opens it, it almost looks swollen I’m going to try a warm damp paper towel on it to see if that helps

If you have an ophthalmic ointment, like Vetericyn Ophthalmic Gel or Terramycin? If so, I'd put some in his eye in case it's injured.
