Hello! Just a question for y’all Wyandotte owners, (more specifically gold laced ones) what is your chickens behavior? I own one gold laced Wyandotte, she is not a fan of mine, makes very strange noises if I manage to catch her and sits on top of the coop at night. I’ve heard other people say their gold laced Wyandotte’s do this so I’m very curious to see if it’s a trait of the breed to be skittish and not go in the coop. Would love pics too. Here’s my girl hazel btw

being those are hatchery quality who knows what they are mixed with as they only have one copy of lacings my wyandotte are not the friendliest but they do go to bed at night once they get older they seem to mellow out more

I have Wyandotte bantams who are all lovely, friendly & roost where they should. @BY Bob 's golden, Sansa, will roost on his leg, eat from his hand, roosts where she should & is generally a lovely, lovely girl. Alpia & Wrold @ POL.

I found my girls very easy to tame ~ but then I also have Campines & they start out very wild indeed. Like any pet the more time you spend with them the greater success you are likely to have with whatever goals you have set.
