What are teh chances my Peacocks head feathers will grow back?

Hi, I got this boy when he was about 6 Months, He was like this when I got him, His Crest is growing back somewhat. He still has a bald head in spots where you can see the skull, I am unsure what ever did happen to him.

Here are some Pic's, these are about two months ago, he may have a few more feathers but not much.

The skin will cover any open wounds over time. I do have a cameo hen that just will not grow a crest. I dont know if she was injuried or what.

awww.. I'd be more worried about his eye than a crest...can he close it? I would be worried about him getting debris in it or having it dry out if he can't close it. I always have soft spot for critters like that too.

I agree with Yoda a burn will prevent many of the feathers from growing back because it destroys the follicles it may not be near as noticeable when he matures.
He is a special guy made it threw a few obstacles we can only imagine, he has alot of spirit.

He is real friendly and that is why i did not trade him back for one that was in good shape, I decided to keep him, He was my First Pea and I did not notice a problem at first.
His eye stays moist and it seems like he can close it all the way. His crest is growing back but he still has bald areas that are right down to the skull, There are no open wounds and he hasn't had any since I have had him. I just love there blue heads and I am hoping he comes though with one. He was my first male but you can tell he is not the alpha even though none of the birds fight you can just tell he is submissive to the silver Pied Male.

I think when he was young he sit together with some other birds. They have eat the feather and the skin. The owner before sutured the scalp together. The feather and the crown grow not again. Be careful that he get no infect in the eyes.
Be happy with him he will thank you.
