What are they doing?

2 od my chicks have just started rubbing against eachother and rolling on their side and back. Why are they doing it?

Do you have a picture or video? What's the context? Sounds like they might be trying to sun bathe or dust bathe.

They're attempting to dust bathe. A pan of dirt or sand, or some time out in the yard, would satisfy the urge.
