I have an 11 week old RIR pullet that looks about the same.... She is small but she's a boss lady, she is clearly the top of the pecking order in the group of 4 she was raised with. I knew from day 1 she was a sassy little mama!We got them from TSC on May 19th, so they're about 13 weeks
We started out with 25 pullets with 4 different breeds, all 10 of the RIR pullets survived. We now have 22 pullets. Such a cutieThis is her on the day she arrived. Giving me the stinkeye. She was the boss and she knew it. First to try, do, eat, and explore everything.
Yep! I am not trying to degrade the chickens by any means, they cannot help what they look like and their appearance does not really matter for pets. I am just telling that they should not be used for any show-quality breeding efforts if you would be interested in that one day.Yep! RIRs. Above comment is correct about them not being "show quality", however that means nothing if all you want is some backyard cuties. Lovely girls!![]()
