What breed are these girls?

7ish weeks old. What breed could they possibly be?

Look slightly different than I remember my RIR looking.

They look RIRs to me.

RIR is my guess. Just lighter, which can happen with hatchery stock.

Agreed, RIR. I've got a New Hampshire Red and she's a bit lighter (more rust than burgundy) as per the breed but otherwise they look quite similar.
Your little cuties might just be from a different strain than you had before or maybe they're going though that awkward tween stage we all suffered through and want to burn every bit of photographic evidence of.
