Curious what breed this chicken is? He's the father to my chicks. When my friend purchased him at tractor supply she was told it was a RIR.

He does look like a very handsome Easter Egger. Maybe he'll have the blue egg gene passed to your chicks. It'll be interested to see what color eggs the babies lay when they're mature!

I cant wait, I'm on a new level of excitement now. I was expecting brown and white eggs but now might get colored eggs. These guys were supposed to be a mix of RIR and California leghorns.
