What could this be?

Woke up to a bunch of feathers laying in the coop and saw this on two of my chickens today, they both have this exact same thing. Does this look like molting or are they pecking out the feathers? Have had my chickens for about a year and have never seen this. Any tips and tricks are wanted!!

do you believe it was a scuffle?

is your coop fully secure and it wasn't any mice/rats or any other small animals

or do you have a rooster if not its probably them either fighting over a nesting box or them plucking out feathers to build a nest to hatch babies its probably fine unless more "attacks" happen
