What do you guys think about this??? Rabbit diaper...

I know all of us rabbit owners want a diaper harness (I just want to hug my rabbit without it soiling me!), so i'm inventing some sort of (Safe!) rabbit harness for them. I know about how if the rabbit poops in the diaper, it will ruin their bottom, because they are sitting in it, so I came up with the DROP POUCH!!! The drop pouch will allow the rabbit to poo in a safe pouch beneath the harness. This will ensure that it will NOT be sitting in it's poo. I have come up with a few sketches so far, soon I'll start sewing!

Great! I'm going to start picking out fabric. Do you have a color you would like? I will also need some info on the rabbit (I will PM you when I need it). After I get the fabric, and I'm done with it, then I'll ship it out to you to test out. I'm hoping this works! I just want to let you know that it might be months before this is finished, so I hope you don't mind the wait! (I will, however let you know when it is made, so you can get an idea of when to expect it!)

Rabbits are very flexible and have nice teeth.
I don't see any way you could keep the bunny from chewing it off in about 10 seconds.
Also, rabbits need access to half of their poop.

For me this would be a temporary thing. For the most part she's in her cage but she gets outside time and though you set her litter box out for her...she still jumps around and soils the area. I've put down area rugs and made a trail and she tends to stay on them but not necessarily all the time. I'd give it a go for her play time out in the house...especially since the girls want her in their bedrooms with the carpet.

Along with Maple, I will also be testing this out. Making sure they not only don't chew it off, but keeping a litterbox near by, so they can have "access" to their stuff. If I can ensure both of those work out okay, then I will keep making them.

Aww! Is she a Rex? Aside from the info you have given me, I will (Later) need dimensions of her (Chest, to beginning of tail. And a sideways dimension (Back to stomach)). Hope that makes sense!

Problems... I made a prototype for my bunny Charlie to test out before I made the real one, the only problem was, it was sagging. The drop pouch was way to big, and I'm thinking if he sits, the pouch will be too big, and he will be sitting in it...

Any ideas to fix the drop pouch, or something totally different???
