i know Scovies can, and i think Mallards can...i was just wondering if i will have to clip some of my new ducklings flight feathers when they get older...my 2 duck hens that i have now dont/cant really fly....just little short/low bursts....but, i am getting other breeds of ducks, and i dont know if they can fly or not..thanks for any help, Wendy

...They are fun to watch fly around the yard also...

The more lighter breeds can fly but i dont think you would need to worry about them flying away and neer coming back . Calls, east indies, mallards, snowy mallards and australian spotted can as well as the muscovy can up and fly away !
