what gender or breed?

today I went to the local feed store and they just got a new shipment and of chicks supposedly all pullets. I purchased five black star hens, but one of them has a distinct spot on its head. Could this possibly be a rooster or a Barred rock?

Too early to tell if hen or rooster. But it does look like a barred rock
