What happened?

New layer of about 3 weeks or so. This is her first soft shell egg I witnessed her laying today. All other eggs are small but hard-shelled. She is acting like a chicken doing chicken things. Just finished treatment for vent gleet a week ago. Any ideas? Outside and inside look at the egg.

Probably just a glitch in the system as she gets used to laying. You can give calcium supplements if it continues. Also check her vent to make sure it hasn’t prolapsed. It’s harder for them to push out the soft shelled eggs.
