I got 2 White Sport Legbar pullets from TSC not too long ago and I would like to know what exactly a White Sport Legbar is? Is it any different from a White Legbar?

I think they are the same thing:I got 2 White Sport Legbar pullets from TSC not too long ago and I would like to know what exactly a White Sport Legbar is? Is it any different from a White Legbar?
Thank you! I just wasn't quite sure if there was really a difference!I think they are the same thing:
White Sport Legbar
White Legbar
Frost White Legbar
In each case, they should be descended from white chickens that popped up in Cream Legbar breeding lines ("sports"). Breeding the white ones together gave more white ones.

^ Here is an example of a hatchery that uses all those different names to refer to the same brids.
Ther are two genes for white plumage in chickens. One is a dominant white as is found in the white leghorn. If you breed a white leghorn to anything else the offspring will come out white. The other gene is recessive white as found in white Marans. If you breed a white Maran to anything else you will get black or brown offspring. A 'sport" is a genetic term that refers to a genetic mutation that results in a new trait in the chicken gene pool. They call the White Legbars "sport white" because back in 2012 there were no white legbars anywhere in the USA and people started to hatch white legbars from their cream legbar and golden crele legbar flocks. The term "sport white" would indicate that the white plumage was a result a genetic mutation creating a new color. That was NOT what was really going on though. The Legbars in the UK that the USA Legbar Stock was imported from was know to have the recessive white gene in many of the English Bloodlines (i.e. the David Francis blood line was one of the oldest and most respected lines of Legbars in the UK and it produced recessive white offspring from time to time. David Francis would cull the white legbars and told others to do the same so they could breed it out of the line to work towards pure breed lines). So...the "Sport White" term was originally used in the USA just to indicate that the White Legbar was the offspring of two non-white parent (cream legbars or golden crele legbars) and that the color was not intentionally breed for and just pop out unexpectedly. A whites from non-white parents got called a "sport white". There aren't a lot of knowledgeable poultrymen breeding Legbars in the USA though so I am sure that some people that got a Sport White cockerel from one source and a sport white pullet from another source and breed them together to produce 100% white offspring and kept calling them sport whites because they didn't know what a sport was or that it is a one time occurrence in a line. White Legbar is the correct term used by the APA for the White Legbar line. Frost White is a commercial name that hatcheries use to market their white legbar line.I got 2 White Sport Legbar pullets from TSC not too long ago and I would like to know what exactly a White Sport Legbar is?
