what is this ruddy color?

this chicken is so fascinating to me in terms of color. it came from a Lavender roo + a white dom paint hen that also had that ruddy color but it was much lighter.

i have learned that the overall coloring is "paint" or "ermine" - thank you forum for that!

i am still trying to figure out the ruddy coloring. i'm not sure if it's leakage or a white dom variant like khaki? it's a really pretty color, kinda pearly, i'd almost say mauve colored but i don't think this is chocolate expression.

Over time he's getting more ruddy looking on his head, neck, and topline, and the feathers are starting to show some sort of patterning? it looks like barring. the black feathers are staying black no patterning on them.

really excited to see his final form.

i looooove the coloring! The overall color sitting on top of the white, is that considered red?

i love that it has that pearly color and that red color both.
