This is the second day I've found a poop like this directly under the roosting bar first thing in the morning. Is she egg bound again? Broken egg in there? Other illness?
Special is a blind production red hen. She has been egg bound twice before, once requiring a trip to the vet. They removed 2 eggs... we can't afford to take her back again, unfortunately.
She lives in her own coop since she's blind- the other hens roughed her up pretty bad and I didn't want to deal with that again!
We've been battling those pesky stick tight fleas and may be on our way to fixing that problem- she is pretty clear of them at this point.
Main concern is this weird poop! Any suggestions of what the cause could be? Thanks!
