Do you think just my 4 hens will be okay with one rooster bantam? He won’t over mate with them?I used to have a bantam Cochin as well as Speckled Sussex and various other large breed hens. And likely medium size

Have they mated with your standard size hens? Will 4 hens be enough for 1 bantam roosterI love my Cornish bantam boys. Docile with people when caught and they aren't super loud compared to other breeds I own

I don't keep him with standards. But bantams can typically breed large fowl. As for numbers, just depends on individual birds. Males can be too rough, or hens can have too delicate of feathers, or bothHave they mated with your standard size hens? Will 4 hens be enough for 1 bantam rooster
