I hatched her myself and was told she was an Ameraucana. She came out of a blue egg but she’s been free ranging so I have never actually seen her lay an egg to know what color she is laying or even if she is actually laying yet. But she should have blue eggs. I’m having to sell my whole flock because I’m moving very soon. I know she’s a more desired color and breed in my area but really having a hard time putting a price on her because I’ve sold a few other chickens for way too cheap. Any advice appreciated :)

Easter Egger.
Probably no higher then $5 as they're so common.

I price mine according to rarity.

Jeresy Giant mixes sold quick for $5 each a year, or two ago.

You don’t say how old she is, but it sounds like she is at or almost at point of lay. Around here I would price her at $25-35. And she would sell.

@MysteryChicken If you are pricing perfectly good laying hens at only $5, it’s no wonder they go quickly! And you are taking a huge hit for the cost of all of the feed it takes to raise them to that point for other people who then never had to keep it under heat and do all the work it takes to raise chicks. That’s a valuable service, and people should be paying you for that!

The Jeresy Giant pullets were actually 3 months old when they were sold.

I sell according to rarity. The rarer the bird the higher the price.
Currently have Indian Malays for Sale at $50 a single, or $100 a pair.
