Hi,

I have 12 Silkie Bantam eggs which I'm going to hatch in my forced air auto-turning incubator and I would like some advice on what temp and humidity they should be at please.

Hopefully someone has done them before and can advise.

Many thanks!

Forced air the temps need to be at 99.5F As for humidity, my best advice is monitor your air cells to be sure. I usually incubate at 30%ish for most eggs. The silkies I just did a couple months ago I needed to up my humidity and run 40-45% ish. I'd start at 40% if they are small eggs and onitor the air cells to make sure that they are growing properly. You can adjust humidity when and if needed according to their growth. More here if you're interested: http://letsraisechickens.weebly.com...anuals-understanding-and-controlling-humidity

The temperature and humidity is the exact same like every other eggs
37.5-37.8 Degrees (99.5-100.4 Fahrenheit)
From day 1 to day 18 humidity is 45-50%
And from day 19-21 it should be 60-65%
You should turn eggs atleast 3 times a day
Goodluck with hatching them
