Hi everyone. I have been wondering as us Aussies approach Autumn what time of year foxes are most active in their chicken hunting? I have a fox that lives two properties over and he is very active in chicken hunting last year.

Ohhhhh I see. Well where I am they pop up usually in spring through to summer during the day.I'm sure it all depends on your area, but for me it is April through August. That is when they are feeding kits and the most desperate for food.

This^^^.....and also maybe when those youngsters begin to hunt for themselves. Season(s) will vary greatly depending on species of fox and geographical location.when they are feeding kits and the most desperate for food.
