All my chickens are finally laying, I'm gettin between 6 to 12 a day! I need some ideas what to do with them all. We can only eat so many eggs. How long could I store them before taking to a market? I give some to church n family, but I've still got a bunch. Ideas?

put an add up in your local feed or farm stores.
craigslist.
check with your local food banks or community churches that may be able to use or donate them to folks who are in need.
keep your eggs in the refrigerator and keep them in a way so you know which are the oldest.
i get overloaded in eggs every spring. one of my local community food centers come to my door and pick them up. they also send me a donation receipt for my taxes at the end of the year. not that i use it. i just feel great sharing my eggs with others.
with my oldest eggs i make a angel food cake, and with the yolks i bake a custard.
my family loves it!

I mark the carton with the dates collected so I know how new or old the eggs are, stored in the fridge. And my coworkers are usually happy to take the extras. You can also crack the eggs into silicone muffin tins, scramble then freeze them, and store them in plastic bags in the freezer for long term storage, to use in baking and other recipes.

Giving them away/selling them seems like the best option. Do you have a roo? If so you could try hatching chicks and selling them or just selling the hatching eggs. Giving them to people in need is always a good option though!

Here are some other ideas on how to use up extra eggs:

I also give some extras back to my flock. I just crack the eggs into a bowl, stir that up and cook in the microwave for a couple minutes (no butter, salt, pepper). The girls love them and I figure the eggs are good protein for them.
