I save a rooster that was abóut dead after a fight. I took care of him and fed him and cleaned him up. He got used to me where I could hold him. I tried to let him go but he didn't want to leave. I was afraid the other rooster was going to come finish him off. I named him sunset and I'm not sure what to do with him. I want him happy. But I don't want him caged up ..even tho he feels safe. And doesn't want to leave. I'm still feeding him and changing his cage and watering him. He's still lovable..I just don't want to keep him like that. Plus after the fight he's blind in one eye.what do I do?

Doesn't sound like a long term plan. It's good you isolated him away from harm, but may be time to rehome one of them.

Sorry about the injured rooster. The blindness in one eye will make it harder for him to protect himself. I would chose one of them, and try to rehome the other where he can be with hens and no other rooster. Some people will cage one rooster, and rotate them in with the hens, but do not let them back together.
