I have a hen that was sold to a friend as a satin silkie. My rooster is a mottled Cochin bantam. We just had 4 babies hatch and I’m curious on what these chicks may look like as adults. What color would you think by the colors they are now? Is this just considered backyard mix or what would you call them?

Their coloring will likely turn out to be similar to their mother's, varying shades of brown with some patterning. The lighter ones could be more buff colored, and the chipmunk one could be darker, but it's all really a guessing game at this point. :)
