Today is the 41st "Tour de Tucson" bicycling race. More than 10,000 cyclists descend on the city for this 100+ mile cycling event. It's one of the top cycling events in the U.S. and participants come from all over the world. Good weather for it!

Of course it wouldn't be an event in Tucson without a mariachi band!

Mariachi is regional Mexican music with trumpets, guitars, violins, and vocals. It's played all over the southwest. You can hear some here.

100 miles wow is that a daily event because it takes about 3 hours to drive 100 miles I hope there are rest areas on the route

I know of one Mexican restaurant in mobile that has a Mariachi band at least it did about 20 years ago I haven’t been in that many years so I don’t know
