When do goats grow a goatee?

Hi,

I have 2 dwarf nigis and I was wondering at what age their goatees come in. Their mom & dad had great goatees. They are curently 6 months old.

It depends on the goat. Some never do. My dairy does generally did not start growing a beard until after a year of age, the bucks in a few months. Nubian does often do not grow a beard at all. I kept the beards trimmed on my does but let them grow on the bucks.
