So my turkey had been nesting for about 3 or 4 days and got killed by a fox.
I managed to get my hands on an incubator and put the remaining eggs inside about 15 hours after she had been killed...
As of now two eggs are still alive and it’s been about 14 days since they’ve been in the incubator.
Here’s the question... I don’t know exactly how long she was incubating them herself, When should I stop the turning tray so they can get ready to hatch? (Everywhere says stop turning them day 24ish, but I don’t know exactly what day they’re on)
Please help! I don’t want her babies to die too 😳

If you candle the eggs, you will be able to tell when they are internally pipped. Once they are internally pipped, you can put them in lockdown.

I have a cabinet incubator and have had eggs of unknown age hatch while in the turner without any problems.

Thank you! I was worried if they were ready to hatch and still turning that they wouldn’t be able to adjust properly for exit. Will update once the time comes. Thank you again
