I have a pair of Cotton Patch geese that hatched a single gosling, now a week old. I know it will at least be a few weeks, but when can I reintroduce them to the flock? First time letting any bird hatch and raise it's own babies (used to have chickens and never even had one go broody and I had over 100 at one point...) So I'm not sure how to proceed?

Flock consists of ducks and geese, there is a trio of geese with the flock currently, and I have 2 pairs separated for breeding; the parents with the gosling, and another pair I'm hoping to get more eggs out of after I had to break her brood. She was nesting out in the open instead of in the lovely coop I gave them :he:he:he (fingers crossed I may be getting some soon, because they were getting busy yesterday!)

One of mine is hatching right now. I put a fence around them to keep them confined about two weeks. That give the goslings a chance to get better at walking and keeps them with the feed. At 2 weeks I plan to open it up and see how it goes. I may or may not pen them up at night.
