Where can I buy a thick styrofoam cooler like the Omaha Steaks kind?

The styrofoam cooler I use for our homemade incubator is tiny (from WalMart). Where can I buy a bigger, thicker styrofoam cooler like the Omaha Steaks kind?

Go to your local pet supplies or fish supply place. When pet stores get fish in the mail, they are shipped in huge syrofoam boxes, so much better than coolers.

I find them frequently at yard sales. I also see them on Freecycle and Craig's List. You could put a "wanted" ad on one of those.

I called Petsmart and Petco, but they said they just got rid of them/ didn't have any.

I called a local tropical fish store and he sells them for what he paid for them.... $3 !!!! He said they are huge and he has lots of them.... Yay!

Check Craigslist or Freecycle. I know if you lived near me, I'd have a boatload of 'em you could pick up! I hate that they aren't considered "recyclable."

I know this thread is old, but just a heads up. You can buy styrofoam coolers that are almost identical to the Omaha Steak ones from Universal Foam Products. These guys ship from all over the country. I know that certain size coolers are only manufactured at specific locations so you might need to be somewhat flexible on size. when you order. here's the site -- www.univfoam.com
