Where can I find sexed Ancona ducklings?

Hi!

I am looking for a hatchery that offers sexed Ancona Ducks.

So far I was only able to find straight runs.

Any recommendations?

Wish I could help, but I don't know of any either. I ordered Anconas from Cackle Hatchery, but they don't sex them... bummer too, because all 4 of the ones I got were boys. All the other places I have looked only sell them straight run, and Metzer (who has an option for all theirs to be sexed for an additional price) don't even sell Ancona ducks!!

I think Ideal sells sexed Anconas, but I can't verify that right now because their site is down. Wouldn't hurt to check once it's back up though.

Tried Ideal, looks like they are selling only straight runs this year. ;-(

Found a hatchery, but wanted to wait until my ducklings arrived before posting a name.

Well,
they were ordered and paid for months ago, but never shipped (per farm eggs were set End of April) and I finally canceled the order a couple of days ago.
Needless to say, that the farm owner did not take it very well.......but I did not want to take the risk of my cc company saying: "you waited too long for refund".

We finally decided to just try and hatch eggs.

With this being said, I am sure we will have some Ancona drakes available in a couple months.

Located in Oregon, pick-up only.
