I'd like to understand the smaller breeds more and see if some are just named different things or each a separate breed

Bantam are the name for small chickens, like standard is the name for regular sized chickens
Seramas are from Malaysia, there are many different verities of seramas, like extreme and American.

Kikirkis are from Puerto Rico and a lot smaller than seramas. To me they look different from the seramas.

Basically from what I’ve researched nothing is agreed. Some say they are different some say they are the same. Some kikirkis are hybrid with seramas or other bantam breeds. I’d say if your looking to buy “true” Kikirkis find a breeder who looks to have the smallest chickens and not the ones that look to be mixed with other breed. You could also ask them where they got their stock from.

This breeder got there stock from Rico. I’ve talked to them, they sound like a good breeder

Vs this breeder their stock looks to be mixed. I have not talked to them so I don’t know where their stock can from

Other bantam breeds are different from each other. Like OEGBs are a fighter breed or Cornish bantams are for meat.

Sorry for such a delay in responding , this is probably the most helpful information by far and I appreciate it , I'm not looking into breeding or anything but I do like the smaller size birds but like to research the back ground of all birds I do end up with. Like snakes smaller reticulated pythons live on smaller islands or localities , I guess researching is just a fun tidbit to me. Thank you again , would you have links or leads on where I can learn more about silkies , show girl genes, breeds that make zombie birds , and birds like a yum cenamis , the melanistic ones I believe?

silkies , show girl genes,

The naked neck gene is dominant. Silkie feather gene is recessive. Feathered feet, muffs/beards, and crest are also dominant.

breeds that make zombie birds
To make a zombie you would have to cross an ayam Cemani to a white leghorn

, and birds like a yum cenamis , the melanistic ones I believe?
If you ment Ayam Cemanis, you want to breed completely black ones. If any have any sort of leakage they should be be bred, they should be sold as pets or culled.
Here is a link for the sop
