Where do I get Indian runner ducks

Hello fellow friends!

I am looking to add two female Indian River ducks to my family. My problem is that I don’t seem to know where to get one.
I would appreciate it anyone could point me in the right direction to purchase Indian Runner ducks? I’m in upstate New York!

Have you tried Craigslist? I didn’t know until Craigslist we have a small family owned hatchery in our county. They don’t have ducks but you never know what you might find.

Following this thread!! I would love to add a runner hen to my small flock. Trying to find any hens that people are willing to get rid of is so hard. I love getting them as ducklings and raising them by hand so they are friendly but we cannot add another frame to our flock and I don’t have enough experience sexing them to trust I’m picking a female. Im in northern ny so if I come across any I’ll reply back to this, please do the same! If I only come across a hen, I can let you have first dibs at any ducklings we hatch out if any!! Our drakes are a khaki and a mallard

i suggest metzer farms. their runners are the best. i'd suggest getting a live delivery however because the hatching eggs all end up being male (1 out of 9 were female lol, yikes) i was impressed by how straight some of them stand, like a perfect |
