What gender is this white cochin is? Got it since April 13th and were not able to determine it’s gender due to lack of feather tail when it was growing up

Not bantam, only said White Cochin from Murdoch, only bantam was Black Tail Buff Japanese but both didn’t make it

Okay. That makes it trickier. I'm going to say pullet because it's over 4 months old and isn't showing a big red comb or wattles, and I don't see any male specific feathering. But the picture is blurry and it doesn't show the saddle area, which is covered by its wings. So I'm not 100% on it being female but pretty sure. If it's a male, it is a very late bloomer.

I'd give it some extra protein if the tail feathers aren't growing properly. Meal worms are a good source. Not too many, just a small handful a day.

Oh? Didn’t realize there was a smudge on back on my camera so I apologize. When it was young it only had 3 feathers at the end of the wings not sure if it was bullied back in the store or different from each species or was bullied while raised but they all behaved normally, my siblings thinks its a rooster but I don’t see a feathers looking like sickle nor wattle/comb darker red and I am not too experienced with bantam nor pullet
