Is this a cause for concern or just a simple sign he might not be a pure bred. Could this be cause by the other rooster he is growing up with please help! The spots are on his neck feathers and at the base of his comb no where else

Did you breed him? Or buy him, if you bought him then where? If you bought him I’m guessing just not purebread, but if you bred him from good stock could be a mutation?

We bought him from country haven farms LLC so we don’t know exactly if he is one hundred percent purebred but he is from the same run as the other hen and rooster who are perfectly black

leakage doesn’t mean he is not purebred, black silkies can look the same. He is a bad quality most likely. I would not use him to breed, butcher him or sale him as pet quality. Most Ayams are not bred to sop so they will have leakage which is more than likely why your guy looks the way he looks. If your going to breed yours for quality make sure you breed the best rooster without leakage to your best hens without leakage.
