thinking of adding two more peafowl.. to my two I have.. since, the boy hasnt arrived still.. I thought
heck.. I should just go ahead and get two more at the same time

I was thinking of a white breeding pair?? but what do you all think

or should I do.. white peacock / and a different type of hen

trying to figure out.. what all happens when the boys breed with different girls.. and how to get- different babies.. does that make sense.. if that were to happen

heres what I technically have now

Hen
White eye, pied- ib
peacock
white eyed- india blue

so what should my next two be.. if you dont think I should I get two whites???

another words- white eye/ pied india blue mates with white peacock~ do I again just get ib??????????????????

ALTHOUGH................... I LOVE THAT WHITE PEACOCK... WHAT A BEAUTY .... A WHITE PEACOCK.. OOOOOOOOOOOH LA LA....

If you have Pied breeding pairs you will get Whites from them

White x White = White

Pied x Pied = Pied, White and Dark Pied

White Eyed x Pied = Pied, White Eyed and I forget ????

I don't like all those split too birds and so on, some folks do.

Are you going to have the males togather??? I have never been able to keep more then one male in a breeding pen at a time, so if you have more then one color of male and hens you will not know
who daddy is.

OK, you have a Blue Pied White Eyed Hen right???? and a Blue White Eyed Male right ?? breeding them together.

I may have read your post wrong.............

Yes, I have an india blue pied white eyed hen.. correct/ then I have on its way an india blue white eyed male... I wasnt planning on breeding at all.. LMAO/ just incase they all mate and one gives me babies.. down the road, it got me thinking.. if I put in two more breeds..
can I just stick with the white peacock.. cause their so gorgeous.. and then I must get another hen.. because that would be two boys to one girl.. so I think I would need another girl.. so they have women friends..hehehehehhe but would I have to get a white peahen.. or could I get a cameo peahen, she has those too I think..

She offered a breeding pair.. and well.. I like that idea.. because that means.. the boy is beautiful already...with a train.. somewhat.. he is 2 years old.. and my ib that is coming isnt quite 11 months yet... soooooooooooooooooooooo thats why I like the whole.. have a pair thats older..

White eye X white eye pied = all white eye chicks, split pied/white....all chicks will look blue white eye

White X white eye pied = 50% white 50% pied some maybe white eye.

Put the white on your pied you will get all the whites you want

Okay... getting confused.. your saying.. put a white peacock.. on my India blue pied white eyed hen

and then I can get whites??? too???/

thats right 50% should be white....that over a very large number.

you can also get whites fron pied x pied =25% white

oKay so your saying.. then I dont need a white hen also.. I should get a different hen????

let me know.. I dont think she has but white hens.. oh no.. ayayya.. LOL

white X white will give you all white chicks.

no reason you couldn't put both hens with the white peacock.

remember unless your white eye peacock is split white, mating him with you pied or white hens all chicks will look blue, split to mother color or pattern.
