Hi. I have a cream legbar possible she just started laying. 4-5 months old.
She has a white sack hanging from her vent. There is still a part of it inside her.
It looks like an undeveloped egg but I want to make sure I can pull it out.
I only noticed it this morning. She was drinking water when k noticed and ate some food this morning.

Do you have any calcium supplements you could give her? It'll help her pass the egg material by helping with contractions.

@Eggcessive
Will this work for the pullet?
I would not use that. Magnesium citrate is a strong laxative. Try to get calcium citrate with vitamin D, but calcium carbonate is okay to use. Tums is fine too. Try to gently pull out the rest of the egg membrane.

Update. She did pass what she needed to pass. Woohooo. 😊 thank you.
I’m still keeping her separate from the rest just incase.
