Hello and thank you for your help. Last night someone attacked my geese and killed 5 of them. Only one goose was partly eaten. I saw the evidences of fresh digging around the duck pan. I locked my ducks overnight.
A month ago someone was stilling my ducks. They were gone without trace, vanished in the thin air. Last year a raccoon killed few ducks. First he killed and ate, but after that he just killed. The raccoon didn't bother the geese. The geese were and still are mean, big and super noisy.

So, I had some experience with the predators, but this puzzles me. Could be mutated, huge raccoon did this? I apologized for graphic pictures.

It could have been a bobcat. I had one kill 14 birds one night. It did come back. My suggestion would be to put up a camera because whatever it was will be back and then you will know what you're dealing with. Most often a predator will lurk looking for an opportunity and you may never see it. Good luck...

Poor babies. This is so sad. I'm sorry for your losses. ☹️
Are they locked in a secure coop at night?
Even though a goose might be a little bit better to fight off a predator just because of their size, they are defenseless in the dark with only a short perimeter fence.

This article talks about different predators and the different kinds of kills they typically leave behind.

Throw some pallets together and make a secure place for your poultry at night.

Minks, weasels, stoats, fishers, foxes or raccoons all can fit thru a small hole and could have dug under a fence. All of them will kill multiple birds at one time. You need to upgrade your pens to protect your birds.
