Yes, but not continuously. Also, it would be hard to see the eggs clearly enough unless I put the camera right on top of the nestCan they record?

I've got a Salmon Favorolles, Silver- laced Wyandotte, a red one I think is Rhode Island, a Cinnamon Queen and a Plymouth Rock. I've also got a Tolbunt Polish Frizzle and a Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben(that's a mouthful!) But those 2 lay white eggs. Not a double yolked - THAT surprises me. What kind of chickens do you have? You said they were pure bred, but you didn't list the breeds.
Hmmm, I'm honestly not much of an expert. But I have a Barred Plymouth Rock that lays eggs similar to the same color and shape of the egg. It could be your Plymouth, but I can't be sure.I've got a Salmon Favorolles, Silver- laced Wyandotte, a red one I think is Rhode Island, a Cinnamon Queen and a Plymouth Rock. It's definitely a unique shape! Oval, not "egg" shaped. LolHmmm, I'm honestly not much of an expert. But I have a Barred Plymouth Rock that lays eggs similar to the same color and shape of the egg. It could be your Plymouth, but I can't be sure.
