Why are only 2 of my 6 chickens laying

I have 6 chickens that are 5 and a half months old and I get 1 egg a day. Will they start laying more in a day. The egg are very small will they get bigger. I know what 2 chickens are laying 1 will lay an egg one day then the other will lay the next day. Are my chickens still too young to be laying,

Some chickens can take 6 months or more to mature and start laying, especially heritage breeds. Their first eggs are small but they do get bigger as their systems become more efficient. You'll have more eggs than you'll know what to do with soon.
