Ever since I've had my rooster since a little chick his tail has been like this, he's never been injured nor showed signs of any illness. He's always super friendly and normal upbeaty, nothing ever wrong. Just wondering why his tail might be down like that?

Welcome to BYC. I can’t say. Usually in hens the tail may be lowered when they are sick or feeling unwell. Do you have another rooster? If he seems fine, and not weak or sickly, I would wonder if it is broken or damaged. I am not an expert on roosters. I have had a dozen or so over the years, and had one with wry tail, but not one with a lowered tail. Hopefully, others will chime in.
